Observations

The Sello Azul brand belongs to Bodegas Valdespino whose origins date back to 1430. It is aged in American oak butts previously seasoned with Sherry using the traditional soleras and criaderas system. It is bright dark amber in appearance with the characteristic brandy aromas of fine oak, nuts and dried fruits while it is powerful on the palate with great length. It is best served in a brandy balloon not filled beyond the widest part thus allowing its exquisite aromas to concentrate, or it can be served with a variety of mixers, shakes or juices, and also in a tall glass with ice and some coffee.
